Life and death

Wow, this has been a difficult week. On Saturday I found out that my cousin closest to me in age on my mom's side had been shot in the head but a hispanic gang. They harvested his organs this morning. He was only 23 years old. It's such a tragedy for the family. I hope his mom can handle it. I also keep thinking that it was an answer to many peoples prayers, the people his heart, liver, lungs, kidneys, etc. are going to. It's sooo sad for us though.

My husband took his dad to the Dr. today. He has terminal kidney cancer, that has spread everywhere. He is on Avastin ,radiation, and just found out he has a bone infection. Since he has the infection they will not give him his cancer medication. He needs more of his leg amputated. Radiation of a large tummor underhis arm has done nothing. I think his time is drawing near. I feel so bad for my huband, all I can do is hug him.

Life has such highs and such lows........

Introductions

Hi everyone I am a 25 year old mother of two. I am married to a wonderful guy, whom I kind of like;) I enjoy spending time with my kids and husband, hiking, camping, dancing in my kitchen, talking on the phone, finding new parks, shopping and writing poetry. My life is mostly all about being a mom, it seems to take up the bulk of my time and energy. Motherhood is amazing! It's amazingly hard and amazingly wonderful, I wouldn't trade it for the world!

I am also the Young Woman's President in my ward. I love my calling. I have been in for a year and have grown to love the girls so much. I am not much older than the girls, and I am a little immature (understatement) so we have a blast together!

I am trying to get my husband into graduate school, this is quite the undertaking and may take awhile. So for now I am stuck in the same townhouse we've been in for 5 years. I can't complain, I am so blessed. I just want a garage and a yard. So that's it for now.. we'll see how this blog thing goes, I've never done it before.
