Alyse 6 Weeks

I can't believe it's been 6 weeks since our sweet little angel arrived. She is doing great. She's so yummy I could eat her with a spoon! She gets more kisses than any baby I know. I am always washing off sticky smudges on her head and face from where her big sister has kissed her with messy lips. She smiles everyday especially in the mornings. When I look at her it seems like I've always known her, she's so familiar. I can't imagine life with out her. She will be blessed at our church on July 5th Friends and Family are all welcome.

Alyse May was born May 13, 2009 @ 7:10 am. She weighed 6 lb 15 oz and was 20 in. She is beautiful and such a sweet baby, we are so blessed!

6 Year Anniversary & Trip to Zions

We celebrated out 6 year wedding anniversary on March 15th! We kind of celebrated all weekend, which was fun. We went out to eat on Friday night, I got my fill of crab legs (love 'em!). Then on Sunday our actual anniversary Kevin gave me a beautiful bracelet with almost 10 karats of citrine (my birth stone). It was very sweet. You can see it on my wrist in the picture of me, second from the top. By the way for those of you on belly watch that's me at 30 weeks. I am now 31 weeks:) Anyways, then for my gift to Kevin I surprised him with a trip to Zions Lodge. We stayed there in a cabin for the first two days of our honeymoon before we went to Hawaii. Since Hawaii wasn't in our price range this year I got us a cabin at Zions. This time around it was fun but not as romantic, I mean we had 2 3/4 kids with us this time!

We went to an old pioneer town, that's now a ghost town. It was pretty cool. Then we got to feed Elk, buffalo, long horn bulls and a pony. The we hiked Weeping Rock (Sammy called it Leaking Rock) Then the next day we hiked all the way to the upper Emerald Pool. We were only going to go to the lower one, then I said lets go to the middle pool then I was like what the heck let's go to the upper pool. By the way the ascent to the upper pool is a mother! I was pretty proud of my self for being able to do it at 8 months pregnant. I was really proud of Sammy too he made it the whole way with out having to be carried! And have to say I am proud of Kevin for carrying Arianna pretty much the whole time.

Little Stinkers!

Ahhh.. Don't they look sweet? You'd never know what little stinkers they were today at church! Sammy was racing hot wheels on the gym floor. I apparently really ticked Arianna off by not letting her past me, so she scrunch up her little nose and gave me the look of death then yelled at the top of her lungs "No Way, Mommy! No Way!" Sammy calls her "feisty girl" and she really is. She's also a total sweetheart, typical woman:)

We had a great weekend with my parents and siblings. I think everyone really enjoyed themselves. My kids LOVE their Grandma and Grandpa! And they are adored by their aunts and uncles. I feel bad they all had to go back to ice cold weather and terrible smog.

Sammy's first fish of the year. It tasted great too. As a group we caught about 20 fish. Grandpa Earl cooked up a huge fish fry.

It's a girl!

I had my ultra sound today. The Dr. had a really hard time telling the sex of the baby. It's in an odd position. She's breach, which can change. He also discovered I have placenta previa. I have to get another ultra sound at 32 weeks to determine if I will have to have a C-section. Let's pray it somehow changes, I really don't want an c-section, plus I wanted to do this labor with out an epidural. Anyways, the Dr. checked back to see if it was a boy or girl many times, he said he thinks it's a girl 90-95% chance. Sammy is sad he really wanted a brother, I can't blame him. We are really excited for a girl. I just have to go on a name finding quest. I like beautiful romantic type names. If you have any ideas let me know. Here is her cute little profile.
